Hi I am looking at buying a 1998 massey ferguson 6180, it has a 695 quicke loader, 2k hours, rubber is good, asking price is 42,500. I dont know the value of masseys, does this seem fair/right? I thought it was a great deal for a nice low houred machine.
thoughts? thanks |

I would guess the loader is worth 6-7000 depending on the shape its in and what attachments you are getting with it. Is the 6180 an MFWD? Is it a power shuttle or mechanical forward/reverse shift? Does it have a grill guard in the front and are the grill, hood and fenders scratched (like the previous owner wasn't careful with it)? If it has these two features and looks like it has been taken care of and you have a reasonably close dealer I would say it is a good but not great deal.
