The Challenger brand was in the agreement with Cat when Agco purchased the Challenger tractors. Cat dealers would have a full line of Ag equipment from Agco if they wanted it. I doubt you will see the track tractors in any other color than yellow.
This is just my opinion, but the Red tractors will be upt to 100 to 150 HP and yellow will be the 150+ HP size machines sold by agco, remember this is just my feeling or opibion of what may happen. I feel that the hay equipment will be sold only in red along with the axial combines in the next few years. Just what I think will happen, have not heard anything from anyone about this. |

a couple of Alberta dealers who are selling the Challenger line along with Massey told me they are having success selling Challenger combines to the colonies.. where they wont look at the red or silver Agcos they will dump their Deere and Case ones on the yellow Agcos.. They have Challenger tracked tractors also, so maybe that is the deal want just one color?

I think Massey Ferguson will remain a world brand for AGCO and is on safe ground. Challenger is a reminder of the Cat heritage of the tracked machine and I think it will remain the color of choice for the tracked and articulated four wheel drives.
