Default Does contour master work with headsight on 40 ft. fd 70 and 760 TT?

Thinking about putting on a headsight system for auto header height on my 40 foot FD 70. I am new to my 760 TT and just wondered if it would integrate well and my contour master would work with it. Any thoughts appreciated...

First off, you really don't need lateral tilt with the FD70...it should be in the float/unlocked position.

What crop are you cutting, on ground or in the air. Why not use the gauge wheels and let them do the work? Auto height works good with the 700/FD70 combo.

He's probably talking about using headsight for cutting wheat off the ground. I have a couple out like this and it works great. have to take sensors off at soybean time though.

You must be an old Deere hand, I think contour master is their term, in fact you may be bordering on trademark infringement.

Do you still run the header in float or locked up then?
I'm talking general float here, I realize wing float would be locked.
Can you tilt the header all the way forward to cut flat crop with hindsight on for a small area?
Doesn't sound like it.

Yes, I still think one would be better off using the MD stabilizer or transport wheels to follow the ground contour and height then using a headsight.
