Well I for one hope that this does not happen. I don't feel like buying the same machine but paying $10,000 more for a coat of paint. Say what you want the same machine in green paint will be more money then MD colors.

You guys do know that you pay a premium for MacDon heads and Honeybee and Deere are both cheaper so how does the color of paint have anything to do with cost. Have you guys bought any MacDon parts lately because they charge a premium for those too.
I don't think paint color has much to do with cost anymore if your going option to option and everybody is charging way to much for parts. |

Yes even black MD parts are expensive, purchase price of a machine is also very high. Painting them green won't make them any cheaper but those that buy larger quantities of tractors/combine/swathers will get a benefit rather than having to go down the street to buy a black MD.
Honeybee can be cheaper but it don't mean squat when they go through knife heads & canvases every week. |

its called a forum, some people like to share their experiences.
Personally I'm not bothered buying JD at all but sometimes it doesn't fit on our farm, so we buy something else. Also have to admit can't get around with enns brothers at all. |
