I sprayed my canola at .67 L/ac of Transorb. I only used 7gal/ac (us) of water. Next year I would go up to 10 gal. 7 gal is hard to penetrate the canopy.

Mate no expert on direct heading canola, first year with canola and first time direct heading.

With the cross auger there is on made in Eudunda (speeling) that looks good, I think with a cross auger you need to adjust the high on the ends and center with out keeping it level.

No one around here sprayed canola out this year in the dry spring, last year in thw wet spring heard of 3l/ha of 450 glophosate (speeling) to stop it growing.

There is a good article in Australian Grain, November/December magazine on direct heading canola at Heart SA.
