What could possibly be wrong with the swathers? We bought a m150 new this year only one little problem the knife speed wire got rubbed on a belt that's the only problem we had all fall o ya and a flat ass from sitting in the swather for 16 hours and not having to get out for anything gotta hate that! I wouldn't even consider a diffrent swather the end!

We had 3 M150's running around the clock. I had myself and a dealer mechanic doing everything possible to keep two running. Often I was down to one machine on a couple of mornings I had all three standing still. Our dealer was awesome. They were the ones that called MacDon and told them to come out to the field and see what was going on. I would like to think I had a Friday machine but I have three M150's and they all had there fair share of problems. I am however impressed with MacDon's pursuit to keep us as a customer. When I get my swathers back I will decide if they were worth the headache, good service can make up for a lot.

macdon we bought a new m150 last year loved it, had some hoses leaking in the beginning but macdon send our dealer out to come fix it, had some troubles with the air in the seat but our dealer came and fixed it too.
nice and quite machines does a perfect job swathing (when there is a nice crop to swath) have drivin in a A400 with a HB header loved the john deere cab and everything but hated the HB bolts kept braking on the wobble box to the knife drive.
i'd say if your true green buy a a400 and put a MD header on it, you won't be dissapointed.

Have run a 08 Macdon M150 with 35' head and single reel. Have changed one draper idler roll bearing. Had to install a battery switch to keep it from draining when sitting for a month or two. Also have had to recharge the A/C at the start of the season. Other then that all repairs have been the usual wear parts on the cutter bar.
Not perfect, but I highly recommend it. Great machine!
