am wanting to by a flex draper header for next year. Thinking of a mac don 35ft. I am new to flex drapers and was wondering how much flex there is . I will be using it in wheat and soybeans and have quite a bit of terraced ground and wondered how it would fit in the terraces or go over them? Does the with make any difference on how they flex? THe ground is usually work once in the spring ,some no till also. thanks
FD70 will flex approx 5.5" up and down on each wing. The header can also twist via the adapter suspension and give you even greater flexibility. Great headers.
not a true flex header the cutter bar does not flex it basically makes a smiley face or unhappy face is what they do. They work great on beans and on wheat way better than an auger header.
