Did you go to the Seniuk sale on wednesday? He made out well....and by well, I mean everyone was crazy. Some 2 and 3 year old stuff went for more than new price. I guess $14 canola will do that....but I just shook my head. Was amazed at the turnout as well....biggest auction I've been to in my life.
You bet. Had a baby girl on Jan. 7, at 7:57 pm. (Ukranian Christmas). Kalleigh Maria Kupchenko. 6 lbs 10 oz. Mom and baby are both healthy, and she is growing (and eating) like crazy. No more just getting up and walking out the door anymore. Life has definately changed....and for the better.
So when are you and your honey going to tie the knot? You have any plans for your honeymoon? You won't regret getting married....if you aren't living together already, it is quite the change at first. After a while you grow together, and that is when things get fun.
Cleaned champion this go round. I'm hanging around home as of late, first baby due any day. (my day consists of running to the farm, helping load or unload truck, run back home to wifey) lol. Maybe catch you when they start cleaning wheat.
The CR should be back Friday I think. It is a changeup on the pumps, so hopefully NH will step up. What color our next combine will be rides on what they do.
Ok, talked to the tech from Millikens. Went through everything we had gone through before. He finally called me a while later and asked if the straw walker belt had the cross in it. It had been replaced at the shop. Didn't cross itself. Its amazing how much more capacity a combine has when the walkers aren't walking the straw back toward the beater!!!
So now we are quite impressed. It has a good 20% more capacity than the TR (30ft vs 36ft and still more ground speed) and is pretty decent on the fuel. So ends the saga (I hope).
The thing is underpowered -won't run with our TR98. But it is dry, has only 20 more hp and needs to haul 8 to 10000 more pounds around the field. I have the front awning plate up, the rear one's linkage is missing, so that is bad news. It is just a couple of days so I might suffer through it. The nice thing is that it has such huge sieves that it can clean just about anything you throw up the feedhouse!
