Default 855 Cummins duel fuel line mod?

Saw Prarie Farm Report the other day and some guy had put a second fuel line up to the front of the rack from his fuel pump. Claimed 25 more HP. Kept more consistent fuel pressure to all injectors.
Anyone heard of this or know of a kit available??

Also had some sort of fuel compressor that claimed 25 HP as well.

Any ideas???

Check out pittsburghpower.com. they say throw your #10 line off and use a #12. or dual line. they also claim 25 or so horsepower more. It makes sense to me.

In their rebuild section, this is one part of the paragraph.

During my travels I am finding many NTC engines that are not using the dual fuel line system. I am surprised that owners of trucks are not taking the time to install such a simple thing as this. The engine will run smoother gain 25 more horsepower without increasing fuel pressure and as a result fuel mileage will also increase. All of this for 75 bucks. How can you beat it? How many of you are still using the #10 Stratoflex suction line? Changing to a #12 line from the fuel tank to the injection pump greatly decreases fuel restriction and again the end result is more horsepower without increasing fuel pressure. Do not forget to install the larger fuel filter and filter head designed for #12 fittings while installing the #12 line. High horsepower does not mean high fuel consumption. In fact, just the opposite is true. The majority of the time fuel mileage increases with power.

This is in a tractor. I wonder if the fuel line on my tractor is bigger than a semi?

Dont think so. it just says its something cheap that guys dont put on. its just #10 jic fittings and 5/8 lines. or dual lines like that. or just #12 jic or 3/4 lines.

I have a Steiger KM360 turned up to 400 and the dual fuel line mod.I definitly think it made a big difference.I pull a Krause 42ft landsman and can hardly tell its back there.

You can buy the kit from pittsburg power, about $85 I believe. The dual fuel line feeds fuel to the back cylinder head, and the front cylinder giving better distribution of fuel. Nobody is sucking hind teat that way.

Basically a tee, some hardline, elbow, and a couple of other fittings.

The fuel compressor was probably a FASS system. Supposed to remove entrained air out of the fuel causing some hp loss.
