Can you not find new? We had the same problem on out 4650 and our dealer had to order the parts from the Dallas warehouse, but they were available. Of course, this was a couple years ago; maybe we got a hold of some New Old Stock.

Default John Deere 4650 with ZF MFWD

Have a JD 4650 with a ZF MFWD in the shop for a leak on the axle of the MFWD, the seals have wore in the axle, need axles for it, anybody know a company that rebuilds them, can't find a used ones.

My dealer takes them to the local machine shop and has them built up. Seems to work ok.

If you have a good machine shop near by you might try have them build up the wore area. I've done it myself on our ZF in our loader tractor. Seems to holdup ok been a few years.

We use a local machine shop. Usually charge about 1/2 price of new axles. I have a complete set ready to install at all times.
