John Deere 4430 vs 4440

I am looking to buy either a John Deere 4430 or a John Deere 4440. The majority of the 4430s I see are considerably less expensive than a 4440s. I what to get everyone's opinion on these tractors to see which tractor is the better value and if any years are worse than others. Please give me your input.

Thank you,

Re: John Deere 4430 vs 4440

I second mx240's motion. Anti-up the $, and go w/the 4440. A neighbor of mine has a 4430, and recently broke his drawbar (again...for like the 4th time). He asked if he could borrow my drawbar, from my 4440. My drawbar would not fit..They weren't even close...The 4430's was lighter & smaller...

You would think on two tractors so close in size that parts like this would be interchangable...but not in this case!
Again, go with the 4440 w/the quad range tranny.
