DEF delete

So the DEF delete has been around for quite a while now for ag tractors. For those of you that have had it for a while how has it been working? Any trouble?

I don't have it yet but will be forced someday. Never have trouble with something you don't have. I know the big trucks when they first came out were a real pain. Technology has caught up I think though and troubles are by far way less now. I want an eco diesel bad, but none are wore out enough yet for me to purchase a used one.

I have ecotune on 12 caseih 550 and a 12 caseih 4430. Both work flawlessly. I did have a repair to do at Youngs caseih and of course they said they could not get their computer to hook up to tractor due to the chip. Little bit of hand holding and they got thru it.

Also have a smokin diesel delete on a 08 cat 475 and once in a while the dash says Regen required. Maybe 3 times in 5 years.

Its worth it overall.

Not to mention a PITA! Unless you enjoy 40 hp and 1200 rpm from a 600 hp engine.
I've had 3 Claass with def and every fucking one of them has given trouble!
Fortunately, I'm not bitter!

Happy 150th Canada!

Hey, how come you can type those words and they don't get blocked out? I even put in heck and it's blocked?!! What's the rule on working emissions on farm equipment, does it have to be functioning to trade back to a dealer?

It's easy enough to be pleasant, when life goes by like a song. But the man worth while, is the man with a smile, when everything goes dead wrong!

Just need the "ing" I think.
Not sure on your other question but it's irrelevant so far, no def delete for Mercedes.
I'm front row center the day there is!
