WTB: 2001 Steyr CVT 170 engine ECU

Hi everyone!

I have a 2001 Steyr CVT 170 tractor and the engine ECU has failed.
First it just randomly stoped while runningthe tractor on the road, but now it is worse, now It just start the engine and then stops.
The Steyr workshop has done some trouble shooting and says it is the engine ECU, but the ECU is discontinued, and can not be ordered anymore....great!
and the ECU is filled with epoxi or similar, so a hardware repair is quite difficult....

Can anyone give me some advice where to find a working ECU for this tractor, thank you!

Best Regards
Richard Adolfsson, Sweden

Hi

Thank you very much!!
I will contact him.

Do you remember any price?
Was you forced to send in your own ECU for repair?

Best Regards
Richard

He will help you find breizelec dealers in sweden or you can deal with them directly. They will take your old ecu in exchange. Dont know the price yet. Probably not cheap but the alternative is selling your tractor for parts and that not a good deal either. Too bad case/steyr dont step up and fix this problem. The tractors are solid but the electronics is their weak spot
