Default Stx 600 pro

We bought a used 2011 535 stx, we got it without the 600 pro monitor. I get a warning (colour display offline) that I have to reset to cancel it. I also am told to refer to colour display when I try to set the hydraulics on a timer. The dial for timer in the arm rest doesn't do anything.

Is there a way to permanently tell the tractor my display is removed?
Should the dial timer in armrest still work regardless if the pro 600 is removed?

I have a 535 with a 600 in it but I don't see why the hydraulic system would be affected by the 600 controller. I do all my hydraulic function settings on the tractor controls.

Do you still have the contol box in it under the buddy seat? Maybe try unhooking that and see what happens. Is there a dial timer in the armrest? Those should be flow control knobs. I haven't played with timer settings, but those should be on the corner post control panel.
Are you looking to set it to run a fan?

We use the timer to cancel our openers going up and down.
I will check under the buddy seat for the hook ups.
Yes there is a dial in the armrest but it doesn't seem to work at all.
The corner post button tells you to refer to the colour display.

Thanks for the reply

You should be able to go into the A post and tell the tractor that you don't have the monitor. I did it last fall over the phone with my gps guy from the dealer. I can't exactly remember how to do it, but I think you hold the diagnostic button for a few seconds then another screen comes up and you go from there, If I remember right. Lol

I should be at my tractor later this morning, I'll look at mine to see how to set that and get back to you.

The control box is unhooked and gone from under the buddy seat. I checked the timer again and it is set for around 24 seconds it must be still in the tractor from before or the dial in armrest is crapped out and stays at 24 sec. If I turn the dial in the armrest nothing changes the timer. 24 seconds is longer then I want but better then constant.

The control in the armrest is for a TPH. The timer is set on the A post control. Push the timer (middle top row)keypad, then the A button, use up and down arrows to increase/decrease time. Use the B button to select the remote to be adjusted, hope this helps.

Glad you got it working. So I guess maybe I should program mine so that it knows the 600 is there

Well, maybe not for now, I'l keep it working the way it is. Drill functions and auto steer on the 600 is enough for me.
