Default Deere !790 Twin Row Conversion

These are some photos of our Deere 1790 planter which we converted to plant twin rows in 2010. We are planning to do a limited number of these conversions
for Spring 2011. Wanted to see what kind of interest there is out there.Rear View.jpg

Where are you located mbill? I'm asking because there's a guy around here who has modified his Deere CCS planter (I believe it is also a 1790) for twin rows, and he did it exactly the same way you did it. I'll try to find some pictures.

The cost for the 12 row is $7700 - $9700 for the 16 row
The odd row 1790's are more difficult to convert
because of needing to buy an additional row unit and related
items but we had a customer successfully run one this
spring.
