Just a little blurb about our 2340 cart . It's the electric over hydraulic one that you can change on the fly . Today -- first day out -- and the front meter is going wonky it is running slow then fast and the monitor is always warning that the rate is out . After looking at the manual in the troubleshooting section i noticed where it mentioned about battery voltage and then i remembered that the little light for the alternator was burned out . Put a new one in and the voltage is right up there and no wandering rates anymore .
How tight does your meter roller fit into the housing? It should turn over by hand. In the past we have had to cut a slight bit off a meter segment to keep it from fitting tight.
The roll pins should'nt go in if you have defected meter rolls or ones that have been exposed to something that made them swell.
Any particular size meter that gave you more issues than others? I can see the extra fines being a pain as they off the least amount of compression. But I've still always been able to get the roll pins in the shaft without any meter material removal.
