Lack of hydraulic flow running Bourgault 7700 cart with JD9630T

I just started using a 2017 Bourgault 7700 air cart with a 3320 XTC drill. I am pulling it with a JD9630T. I don't have enough hydraulic flow to run both fans at the same time. The 9630t only has 1/2" SCVs so I can't use the 3/4" tips the drill came with. The dealer sent 1/2" tips along. I have my John Deere dealer checking into 3/4" outlets but they are not coming up with any answers. The tractor is only rated at 48gpm. Anybody have a solution?

Trade your tractor, add a hydraulic pump?

Thinking your gonna have to find a tractor with a bigger hydraulic pump or a drill that uses less gpm. Anybody here with bourgault paralinks and green tractors has the 78 gpm pump. Hopefully somebody else on here has a better answer for you.

You most likely don't have enough psi. You need over 3000 at coupler with fans running or tractor just goes to standby

U dont have enough hyd flow period. High cap fans and hyd metering on cart u need 70 plus. I ran a 9360R with standard pump on a 3320 50ft and a 6350 dual fans and barley had enough flow.

Don't think I would bother with changing your tractor to 3/4". Like stated above you don't have enough capacity. What size drill? Who told you that setup would work in the first place ???
dumbfarmer, Grainline and SWMan like this.

Brent.

I pull a 50 ft QDA with MRB and a 6550 tank. And tractor does 55 gpm on 1/2" hyrdraulics out of a 485 HP red tractor. 100% dry fert and seed. 320 pounds for canola and ~400 on cereals.

It runs it fine but I always seem to be trying to make everything better. Is the JD tractor and 700 bushel tank that much different of a set up? I did ask dealer on cost to go to 3/4, as this would also help with hydro drive on grain cart in fall, but I know it was quite a bit of money.

What are your symptoms exactly? I had a 9420 with poor flow and it was a fleck of something in the compensator valve. Easy for dealer to test flow. It is true that the tractor is mismatched to the drill but I would have thought that it would run it but poorly.

Yes. 700 tank needs more air because piping is bigger plus meters are stealing oil too. 5-7 gpm I think So in all likelihood tank needs 40plus gpm at big pressure. 3000+

The drill is a 66' XTC. I asked the salesman if my tractor would run it before I bought it. I can run one fan and the down pressure on the drill jus fine. When I try to run both fans I can't get enough rpms out of either of them.
