Canola with my new drill?

Anyone planting canola with a 3n-3010p great plains no till drill? This has the precision seeding system with a seed meter on every run. They dont have canola discs for these drills but i was going to try the smallest holed one it came with, turn the rate WAY down and see what happens. (in the yard obviously, before the field). Anyone do this with a metering system or something similar? Do you think this would work? I'll probably have to figure out seeds/lb and all that but i dont mind taking the time if it works ok

At $700 per bag of seed, I would wanna make sure your very confident prior to priming the system full of seed. Certainly if you contact Great Plains they will be able successfully help you set it up.

I've seen guys in the past just wing it with canola, only to learn very unnecessary and expensive lessons.
