Needing new shoes

Once again I'm in search of new shoes/ openers for my 9400 JD hoe drill. Current I used JD's 2" shoe but I want something thinner that will throw less dirt and last longer. I just found GEN manufacturing that makes a 3/4" opener, the H4. Has anyone here had experience with them? If so I do love some feedback.

Good morning! Give VW Manufacturing a call. They are located in Medicine Hat , Alberta. Their number is 403-528-3350. They sell carbide drill points for older hoe drills , and I got points from them for my CIH 7200 hoe drills. They aren't cheap ,but will last a LOOONNGG time!

With your American $ difference , you will get a better deal than us Canadians that's for sure!

Hope this helps,

Ed, in SW Saskatchewan

Also check out Atom-Jet , I think you will find superior quality and wear and I know they are still producing openers for the 9400. I attached a link to see them.
