Bush and bog disk

I have an old 6 foot bush and bog disk. My grandpa used it on our home farm here back in the 50's to clear the ground. It sets in a fence row that I have drove by and walked by since I was little. The other day I was passing by and stopped and looked at it thought about how long it would take to get over much ground with it. I didn't see any markings on it, who made these disks?

Various companies made them. Rome, Kello, Amco, Alteen etc. Rome was probably the most prevalent.

I often see old equipment like that and think those guys must have gone crazy sitting old a tractor working just a few feet at a time. But, all farms were just a few acres at the time

I may be young, but I've been told I am wise beyond my years.
