Can you still buy the steiger tandem "trail r disc" in the US that went from green to red when case ih bought steiger out? We've got 2 green ones & they stopped importing to Aus just after my uncle bought a red one
I just forget exactly the order in which it all went down as the ownership changed from Binkley, Wilbeck and Steiger, but to my knowledge the whole line of any discs made under any of the three names have long since ceased to exist. Here in Canada at least, parts has become an issue, what is available is still sold thru CaseIH, but it is limited. I have a 28 ft Wilbeck Twin, which is two 14 footer offsets hooked together with a gooseneck hitch for transport. Getting such pieces as bearing spools became such a hassle and waiting game I have resorted to having them made at a machine shop out of steel. Still costs a few bucks, but at least they'll last forever as they don't break beside the bearing seat like the cast ones do
