Considering strongly with going with Microessentials on my peas for a start and maybe moving into it for all my P and S. Anyone using this and what do you think? I like the idea of the P and S being in 1 product and a little bit of Elemental S for season long availability.
Is it worth it? http://www.microessentials.com/index.cfm |

Thinking MES15, Andy? I have heard positive results, gaining poularity around here. Cuts down on volume alittle and is a nice product to handle. Not shure on current pricing but back in november I sold some for 2-3$/ac more than a 11-52 blend.

We have used this for the last 5 years and love it use it on all our acres called S15.
13-33-0-15 ecellent for direct seeding as it has a very low salt index Just booked ours some at $480 some at $460. Used to be exclusive to Cargill but some independants are starting to sell it. |

We have been using the S15 for 5 years on Canola and last 2 on whole farm.
Can be very dusty if they cut back on the oil when loading. Doesn't absorb moisture and clump. Still undecided on the elemental portion of S availability/effects. Will be trying 100#/acre of sulfer fines next fall on acres going into Canola in 2011. Soil tests this year called for 80-110 of N, 35-45 of P and 40-45 of S for 40 bushel Canola crop. Will mid row band 120# of 46-0-0-0 and seed place 80# of 12-34-0-13 (S15 and 11-52). Foliar apply with chem app as needed (or bank account allows). Will have Omex primer on most Canola seed and use some Omex C-3 foliar as well. 46 was 395-410/tonne S15 was 410-430/tonne 11-52 was 435-450/tonne 20.5-0-024 was 375-400/ tonne We bought a week ago, from an independant, most places went up $50-$110/tonne monday. |
