the 2012 Rogators have 4 wheel steering, and they are the only manufacturer in the 800 gallon class offering 120 booms.

i would say go with gator but how far away is your dealer canpro gator is really good to me 2nd to none can give me better service 2 hours away than the case or jd dealer half hour away if your looking at a jd 4940 you just aswell compare like with like look at the new new rogator the 1300 massive power even better weight balance a amazing engine way better just running def all people i have talked to love the def over every other systm i orderd a gator over case or jd caz of power the engine dealer service and i have run a 854 gator for last 6 years putting 40 000 acs a year on it and has runs like a dream i did not want that cat engine that was main reason for not changing before now

oh and you can get all wheel steer on any sprayer it is a option

I cant speak for all the brands but our Rogators 2009 1286'S will chew up spit out and run over our deere's 2010 4830's ...But we are in some very rough terrain.

mark1056 is right, there were trouble with wheel motors until about 1999. A lot of the problem was the wheel motors weren't greased properly, or just ran quite hard and blew the seal, or could have not done a hyd flush correctly and blown a seal/motor that way. If you didn't catch the seal leak right away, you would have a blown wheel motor if you kept running on it. AgChem caught the problem soon after and had reseal kits with a stronger seal.
