I have looked at some trailers from Little League - never bought any just were not in the condition I was looking for, but never felt like they were trying to hide anything. As for the safeties - any truck or trailer I have bought I always buy with a fresh safety - then I resafety it immediately at a reputable shop locally. I hate spending money but I safety our tandem and trailers annually and tractor every 6 months - even though I run farm plates. Why? Because I hold a class 1A and if my truck/tractor/trailer doesn't pass my circle check (which requires a valid safety and plates) and my air test it doesn't haul until I fix it.

That's probably your highest level of trucking safety possible. I just grumble at the added cost of the second safety. I, also, would rather not run something that is nut up to snuff! |
