I wasn't home for the first lot of water but the way it is raining it is going to happen again.
this is out the back door of the house
the backyard and out on to the paddocks

the dog kennels just about went under they are about a meter of the ground

the veiw straight behind the house over the corn or what is left of the corn

some of the gear that we thought was far enough up the hill

late arvo and the water about its heighest

thanks for looking heres hoping it stops raining for a couple days anyway

mate that is some serious water, lucky your house is on a bit of a rise. It will be interesting to see the long term impact of all that water.

I hope things get a bit better for you.

Kurt it doesn't happen that much every couple year we get a little flood but this is the heighest ever recorded here and through most of Queensland. cropping well where do i start we only farm 700ac but we have lost wheat and corn, corn was flowering and water got in the silks so not pollenated. well we weren't bad enough but now we are with the second lot of water on the door step and going to be bigger this time so they say. the prime minister has come out to say that we are going to get help for lose of income and buildings. insurance just dont want to know you at the moment just to many people and businesses affected.

loui all the trees are gone and most of the bank where you planted them.

here is a clip for the local town we do most of our business. get a bit of stuff from Repco.

the briggs and straton dealer on the corner we do business with as well. there are 8 dead and 72 people missing in southern Queensaland

I feel sorry for you guys, It`s wet up here but nothing compared to what yous are experiencing. I personly think the governments help to farmers will be pittifull. They are pouring $460 million bucks into the prison up here but couldn`t give two $hit$ about the poeple that feed them. As said before, hang in there dude!
I`m bringing the family down to Toowoomba/Dalby and surroundind areas for a holliday in July this year to have a look at the farmland and crops down there again (been a few years) so look foward to seeing some good crops. I really enjoy pokeing around the back roads looking at farms.

on a serious note we arent that bad for house and buildings being washed away here just fencing and irrigation equipment. but some of the farm land is taking a real bad washing.
