That's why you ended up in Colby where it's the cheap rate right Brad? I told ya you didn't want any part of the Fall harvest in Colby this year.... rain (over an 1" so far) and snow tonight... you and I would probably end up at twisters more than we'd like

It has been several years since I have custom cut milo but wow the price has gone up. I don't know when we will start. We are about 70 miles east of Alex and we are wet with rain falling now. I hope the snow stays west of us
. I've got a tracked machine so maybe it will work out.

just find the competive price for the area and dont under bid just to get a job. that never helps anyone. Vieth bros came in last year when the rate was $27 per acre plus hauling and droppped to $21 . i heard this year they are trying for $18 plus hauling they do a sorry job and cut rate to get acres soon they will be gone. They cant get the acres i have lined up but farmers talk and always want a better deal if you get someone to drop stupid around.
