Default Micro-trak auto rate controller

Looking at installing an auto rate controller on our flexi coil 67 suspended boom sprayer. Anybody know anything about the micro-trak stuff? Raven is a lot more money.. Any info on this topic would be appreciated!!

- Anybody using the micro-trak spray-mate II auto rate controller?
- Does the micro-trak stuff compare to raven auto rate? scs 440/450??

Thanks for the help!!

We had a MT-3405 II in our old sprayer and we put NH3 on with a MT-NH3 II and NH3500. Not guite what you were asking about but still mirco-trak stuff. Both work really well with next to no trouble. If you have trouble the people at Eagle Lake are very good and can usually help over the phone

Micro-Trak works great. I run it in my old sprayer and not a minute of trouble. I plan on removing it this spring and selling it.

Better user interface than Raven, in our experience. Also, they seem to be reliable.

I've got about 10 years on a 3405 and bought because it was a little cheaper than the Ravens. I like it, always has done good for me.

Ran the microtrak 3405 in 2 Brandt sprayers with very few problems . The first kit we purchased and installed it ourselves on a Brandt Quik Fold , the second was factory installed on a Brandt suspended boom 4000 . This past spring our ground radar sensor quit working so we opted for the GPS antenna for ground speed as it was cheaper than a ground speed radar gun . As far as service goes you can call Micro Trak and get quick technical advice with one of their staff .

Thanks for the info guys.

Anybody have any experience with the spray mate II auto rate? It is there intro controller that only controls 3 boom sections but has plenty of features.

I see most people are using the 3405.. Is there a reason to stay away from the spray mate II?

Our sprayer is only 90 ft.. Would the 3 boom control be suffiecient?

Thanks

I am sure there is nothing wrong with the spray mate just a few more features with the 3405. The reason we went with the 3405 was so we could have 5 boom sections

I used the spray mate on a 96 foot Brandt. The 3 boom controls worked fine as the brandt only had 2 solenoids to switch the booms. I never used the wheel sensor, I used the radar output from the EZ-Guide to input the speed signal. Very easy to use and setup. For sale this spring.
