Default Forage Harvester for Sale

Selling our Taarup 1015 forage harvester.

This machine picks up swaths, slices the green feed, and loads it into a dump box. Capacity is 5.7 MT of chopped silage. Needs about 95 HP. We ran it with the 1155 MF (135 hp).

It goes good in the field... 5 - 7 MPH or more if the ground allows it.

Comes with a 2nd set of used (but usable) knives. plastic fingers, shear bolts, etc. Chains / sprockets were changed about 2 seasons ago.

Asking $4,000 OBO.

Chris,
Your silage there looks pretty long stuff, something like what my flail choppers do when I'm zero grazing...how fine can that machine chop it, like how long Like for example I have my forage harvester set at 5/8" average.

And people think I'm nuts hauling across the field with the hydump and dumping direct in the pit when its close by...I had never really seen or probably more accurately paid attention to one of these gadgets before, not looking to buy, just curious about its abilities thats all

Maximum cut length is... unlimited. Minimum cut length is 0.5".

It's got 1/4 of the knives in there to cut that stuff. 4cm in theory.

This is the way they do it in Europe.... works slick when you don't have much manpower handy.....
