I worked with the 35 draper last year and really liked it. I like the way it flex. It picks beans as low as the 600 f series. Going 40 ft will be great if you have fairly flat land. Otherwise the hinges of the macdon might be more proper. I don't know about the long term reliability of the new deere though. The system looks more complicated than macdon. If your looking to buy a new deere flex draper means you are buying a new s serie combine? Cause they wouldn't want to sell us one with our older combine
