Default JD Fronts/Heads

Deciding which way to jump. Mac Don or the new JD heads. Will need 40'.
Anyone have any thoughts about how they compare? Can the JD go as low as the MD?

I worked with the 35 draper last year and really liked it. I like the way it flex. It picks beans as low as the 600 f series. Going 40 ft will be great if you have fairly flat land. Otherwise the hinges of the macdon might be more proper. I don't know about the long term reliability of the new deere though. The system looks more complicated than macdon. If your looking to buy a new deere flex draper means you are buying a new s serie combine? Cause they wouldn't want to sell us one with our older combine

Hope it helps
