9550 walker put a sunny brook concave in wires are on in spacing really thought I should pull every other one to make it 2 in. Sunny brook says let them in dealer says let them in. Had oem concave in an had every other wire pulled. Combine corn, beans, wheat and barley everyone says let them in it just looks to closed up, they say I won't be happy in tough wheat with getting it to she'll out I can see that maybe but worried about getting it through the concave and losing compacity. Anybody have any thoughts thanks in advance.
We cheaped out replaced a worn out Kuchar concave with another brand full of wires. Lost a whole bunch of capacity. Needless to say every second wire is coming out and will use filler plates when necessary.
I had Kuchar 5 years ago had to change out in middle of harvest and couldn't wait on one to ship so put oem in. This time I couldn't bring myself to pay $3100 for Kuchar concave + shipping so I bought a sunny brook. It just looks so closed up on 1in. Spacing.
