Default JD 9770 autosteer buttons

Is there any way to get a seperate autosteer activation button on these combines. I like to have all 3 buttons for header height settings. Or can i set it to activate auto steer and header height. Right now i can use 1 and 2 for heights and 3 for autosteer but would like to use all 3 for height as it is nice to have an extra height setting for taller or shorter spots in the field. thanks for any help

That is fine but, it would be really nice to hit a dedicated "pinky button" for autosteer, earlier in the turn than lowering the head.
That way the combine gets on line nice and early and the head can be lowered just in time. Acres will be calculated much more accurately, and less wear to the head skidding sideways.
It is also quite dangerous the way it is set up now. Quite often we have to drive around natural gas well heads and such. As you are manually driving around the obstruction, and change height with the buttons,,, wham,,, the combine steers quickly and veers for the well head.
Much better to have a seperate button for autosteer. (Exactly like the sprayers please). Have suggested this to everyone at Deere that I talk to, for 5 years now.
