Have you done any work with John Deere 4930 sprayers?

We have tremendous experience tuning JD 9.0 litre engines. While I have not had the pleasure of tuning 4930, I have no doubt we can improve performance and productivity regardless of which machine it's packaged in. The engine management system as well as many, if not all of the engine iron will be identical to the high horsepower 9.0l engines found in other applications.

By dyno testing well over a hundred tunes on pto equipped tractors we can be confident of hitting the mark within 5 or 6 hp of your desired specs even if we are not able to measure it on the dyno.

You can find examples of several custom tunes on our website. Here is one example (JD 9230): http://www.ekotuning.com/html5upload...20J%203-12.pdf
Keep in mind this particular chart depicts PTO power. Peak engine power after tuning would translate to about 420HP.

This link will show a short video clip of a slightly more aggressive tune in a 9230 (9.0 L )

This dyno chart shows engine hp in a tuned 8345R. http://www.ekotuning.com/html5upload...%204-12_v2.pdf

If your machine is underpowered even by a small margin, you can also expect improved fuel economy with one of our tailor made tunes.

If you have any further questions, you can reach me directly by calling 416-823-2032 or alternatively our toll free number 1-855-356-8863.

Default e-power alberta

The owner of these machines took advantage of demo tour prices by inviting our mobile unit to his location for dyno proven tuning.

Case 485 received a custom made software upgrade for a mild power increase and better fuel economy. End result: 520HP PTO.

This 7330 also was tuned with a mild HP increase to 160HP PTO.
The 6330 in the background was tuned to 135hp at the owner's request in order to better perform on auger duty. Ekotuning tailor tunes each machine individually to suit the owner's needs!

Tomorrow: Taber AB. Tuesday our unit begins its return home via Sask and Manitoba.

Our mobile unit prepares to wrap up Alberta leg of the western demo tour.
Last AB pitstop in Brooks, before heading into SK.

This JD 9220 was upgraded to 9320 specs as per customer request.

7930 on the dyno with 220hp & 236hp (pto) tunes in order to demonstrate our ability to tailor make software upgrades to suit the owner's needs.

The JD 13.5 L engine is a great candidate for custom software upgrades.
From our point of view, the engine is built from the OEM to withstand over 600 HP such as the one found in a 7550 forage harvester so the limiting factor becomes the rest of the drive line and how much you are comfortable putting through it. I don't have any video for a 9630 but here is an example of a 13.5 L tune packaged in a 9330.

A 9430 dyno chart can be viewed here: http://www.ekotuning.com/html5upload...ere%209430.pdf

Keep in mind the video and dyno chart depicts PTO power.

A good option for you would be our hand held programmer option which would allow you to choose from 4 different software tunes depending on your power needs of the day. We take a deposit for the tool and ship it to your location.
Once you receive the tool, we will guide you through the process of reading out your OEM engine data, and how to send it to us. We then create 4 custom made tunes for your individual machine and again guide you through the reprogramming. If you are interested to learn more, feel free to email me at northamerica@ekotuning.com

Default Dyno day Outlook SK

Mobile Demo Team making it's way back home via Saskatchewan.

JD 9620 with 12.5 L engine has lots of traction with triples and latest upgrades include an engine managment programmer loaded with 4 tailor made tunes, allowing the operator to reprogram his machine to suit the power needs of the day. Custom made tunes for this machine include an Economy program geared toward better fuel consumption as well as +50 and +75 hp tunes for the tougher jobs.

JD sprayer with 8.1 engine set @ 300hp from factory also upgraded to allow precise managment of engine performance. The owner can reprogram this machine himself with our hand held programmer to his desired spec. We included a +50 and +70hp tune as well as the OEM tune.

Discussing dyno results. Self contained mobile lab contains dyno control + on screen results.

Bidding farewell after a friendly pull out of a slippery situation.

Thursday: Dyno Day Elie area Manitoba
