Or at lest its not putting out like it should. But if the tractor is idling not working the ac works fine. The moment I start using it, more rpm putting a load to it the ac barly works. Had a mechanic try charging it he said it was good. Also cleaned the cab filter. This is on a 2375
Thanks
Versatile 2375? I can almost guarantee you its the low pressure switch.
It's a an easy fix. There will be a green cylindrical shaped thing with a couple wires right on the compressor. Just thread it out and undo the wiring connector. There's a check valve behind the switch so you don't have to open the system.
Reverse previous steps with the new switch.
kk, ill look at that, dumb question but would that switch be generic or would I have to run to a Versitile dealership? (I'm a good 2 hours plus from one)
Generally speaking they are usually the same with the exception of the wire connection, I think there is only 2 different fitting styles for them so a good auto parts guy should get ya one
First check heater valves, then make sure the condenser is clean (witch to me it sounds dirty) than possibly the low pressure switch, generally a low pressure switch won't alow the clutch to engage in right off the get go but it is possible
If ya listen to the A/C clutch does it kick in and out or is it running constantly?
Switch will be generic but u may have to cut the connecter off the old one to put on new switch. I carry john deere switches in service truck but have used them on every color of tractor and trucks also.
Sounds like your clutch is slipping had the same problem with older tractor.
