Default Supplying a full line

Versatile is in the ag market to:

1) Make money
2) Supply a full line of farm equipment.

New 4wds, combine, now a tillage line, swathers are next (our rep is pretty tight lipped bout this line, but iM thinking something gooD)

I think they could be a force to be recond with.

( The Russians have a LOT of money to make this happen!)
The combine market will be very hard to break into but 4wds, tillage, etc, if priced right will be a good market for Vers'y..... IMO.

Whats the tillage line?

Vers'y was always a force to be reckoned with as long as they keep it simple and reliable.

Ezee on is the tillage line. I think they will do well. Versatile has always seemed to have a reliable and simple product. As long as they dont price themselves out of the market.

Exactly...... no matter how good of product Versy offers, there HAS to be a price spread between them and JD/CNH.

A 485 Vers and T9050 (485) NH will get an equal amount of work done in a day. Customers are willing to spend the extra $$$$ on the big 3 colors.

We had an old Versy disk which I thought the tillage line was bought by Ezee-on. Anybody know what the real story is? Did Versatile maintain ownership of their tillage and just had it on the self? Their new disks look almost identical to our old one, built like a tank.

Well if they keep it like the old 835 and up series, they will be a success. Great reliable tractors, we still have ours and it almost never lets us down. Only twice in 20 years, the main fan belt and the waterpump. Although it only has 6700hrs. Will be interesting to see!!

Local dealer technician was recently at Winnipeg for training, said he saw the new 4WD and was given some details regarding new FWA coming in 2012, his comments were green and red should take notice!

What about dealer networking? Im sure it would ruffle some feathers of the higher ups in the big three if there dealerships started selling full line of versatile. Or are they going to set up shops across NA to sell from?

According to Ezee-on's website Versatile partnered with them in the 1970's to market a private labeled disc line. Funny that all these years later they ended up buying them.

By the way, there is a tracked Versy running around the country side (state side).
