I figured that out. It doesn't look like it would spread very far, but would handle lots of chaff though.

I saw two new systems last summer in OK on a crew that runs some test machines for Case. They are looking at making some changes, because they know they don't always spread very well in some conditions. We have a very hard time getting it to spread evenly in wheat, and then soy beans required all sorts of adjustments...its a pain.

It seems by looking at this video YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.
That they might have fixed our changed a few of the main probs with the 20 series in the new 30 series. Like the spreading system getting rid of those fingers and been able to close the gap underneath so it all stays on the spinners to be thrown out. Spose won't be able to test until see working. Been interesting looking at other posts about the reedokep mav choppers still struggle to reach the 40ft so I am imagining a 30 series with a magna cut and the new spreading system mite be close to a tie. Am a bit surprised with the adjustable Chutes are not adjustable from the cab as changing conditions throught the day wind ,dryness would make it throw differently I imagine.

The redekop is great in wheat if you only want to spread 35 ft. Terrible in beans. I fixed one problem with the mav and caused another!

The 30 series spreader can be adjustable from the cab. That is optional. It can spread 40+' too very evenly with the adjustments, til the wind blows. This was with the fine cut chopper and heavy straw.
