Default How to calculate the value of hours

Looking at purchasing a different machine. If I was looking at identical conditions, years and option and the only diffence is hours, how do I determine what the better deal is. Do you have a number that you use per hour to calculate combine price? I hope you can understand what i am asking. Thanks

There should be at least a couple thousand spread between the two, I would hope.

What is the price difference between them? Are they equally equipped (choppers, rotors, etc...)

I think $35000 is to much difference for that scenario. It would be about right if there was a 400hr difference between two lower houred machines ex. a 400hr vs. an 800hr. Once you get to a little higher hrs. there gets to be lots of variables as to what parts have been replaced. The one with more hours could have $20000 of new parts, where the other one might soon be in need of $20000 in parts. Thats my opinion anyway.

If they are both 2002 models, then I believe that the cheaper one would be the better buy because 1900 hours is not that much. Like others said, just check both over and do what your mind tells you to.
