1682 rotor can we go to the new type afx

i have a friend with a 1682 he wants to put in a afx or specialty rotor can it be done ? as he pluggs the rotor on flax and feels that it would make it go better in other crops also

I would suggest going aftermarket, pfparts.com or st johns rotor mods would be cheaper then buying a new rotor.

I have been thinking of changing out the stock one in my own, but it's just another thing I haven't got around too yet. But yes, certainly the same equivalent modified rotor from a self propelled will fit.
