Ya that is a problem with the gear boxes on the crary ones. You have to keep the air breather open. That can be hard with all the dust and stuff in the air. We just got ours and have not used it yet, but that is what people I have talked to said as well as the salesman.

It is Important to what kind of combines u have. We had a 2388 case and a tr99, they worked great, traded for a 7010 and the feederhouse speed would not spin the fan fast enough to get enough pressure on the jets, 30 foot head, had to trade to a drapper,
Not only will it save you beans, but it will also help the feeding to the auger, you will get alot less slug feeding and the beans and wheat wont sit on the platform. Adds some speed. Only downfall is the hum of the fan. |
