Looking for 20 inch corn head for N6

I'm looking st switching some of my corn acres to 20 inch rows. Didn't know if anyone new of an older head needing rebuilt that could be bought cheap? I know gleaner made some older 20 inch heads but can't seem to find anything.

gleaner made 20 inch heads way back in the 60s and early, early 70s, A,C, and G and maybe F series. pretty clunky and high maintenance to try and run on a N series. we have a A420 and a C620, and a C620 with a factory adapter kit for a G.

I know the newer huggers can go to 22 inch, and possibly 20. Deere will definitely go to 20, and you can run one with a adapter plate from Bish.

I think 22s are more common than 20s if you have not invested in the equipment yet, it may be better to aim for 22s instead.

Good luck!

Our farm purchases a combine soley on its ability to do an excellent job in all of our crops, while being fuel efficient, reliable, ruggedly built, and easy to repair. That is why we choose a Gleaner.

No I haven't bought any new equipment yet. I pick up a new farm that is mostly white timber soil so was thinking of trying narrow row corn on it. I've tried 15inch corn in 2012 but it wasn't a good year for any test results. But I didn't like spraying against the rows and my Tyler Patriot does have auto steer to run a slight angle consistently accurate across the field. So I was leaning towards 20's because I could still go between the rows for post spraying. Haven't really heard much on 22inch rows though. Thanks for your input

There's a 8 row 22inch hugger here in Ontario that was on a R52. Think they were asking $5500 canadian which would be almost free in your Money!!

Not sure where your from but thought i would mention.

What dealer or person has it for sale? Wouldn't happen to have any photos of it as well?
Thanks
