Default Dean out Foley in, no AGCO Sedalia Mo

Heard from my cousin that went to the new Foley Cat in Sedalia Mo that AGCO is gone from this location. No Gleaner dealer south of I-70 between KC and Columbia that I know of. Chillicothe?, Brookfield, St Joe? way to the north and Tractor dealer in Higginsville(very good people).

Dean ran out the best thing going which was in Sweet Springs, they didnt have the money Dean had, then Dean sells out and dismantles the staff and poopf nothing left...maybe could get some oil there that would work in the combine..

I wonder if Agco knows, they probably have a database with customer names, send me a Christmas card, pleeeese.

Farm show in KC here in a couple weeks, praying for some good news even if a year away.

Just my opinion but if Agco doesn't know about how many customers Dean had ran off then they've had their head in the sand or up someones _ _ _. Very piss poor way of doing alot of people wrong!!!

My cousin went green combine this year, grew up on Oliver, Allis and White tractors and always Allis combines, His M3 had about 18000 acres on it, traded it after corn and got a deere to finish beans, deere is close by.
Neighbor has M3 87 model close to same acres, need a major rebuild but plans on running another 600 acres thru it and go red for 2013.

Have another cousin running a 50 with a new deutz, so I know he's in to that one till it pays for itself, couple other cousins with 52 deutz's. There are a few of us still around but for those moving on its about parts and service..

Big hole here in Missouri if somone is listening...

There is Storrer Imp. in Iola, Kansas also. They have good parts counter and do a good job having parts in stock.

It has become patently obvious that this once great company has now entered the "irrelevency" phase. Few industry experts speak of them in respectful terms anymore. They have bastardized the majority of their product lines with the exception being Gleaner and to some degree White planter. I was talking to a senior marketing manager for an ag manufacturer recently at an agronomy conference who summed it up as a different company than he started with, he formerly worked for AGCO until Richenhagen came along, then, he said things changed dramatically. I wouldn't even waste my time trying to understand the current strategy. Their market share is declining and will continue to do so on their present course. This clown is just like Obama, it doesn't have to make sense, as long as it is done his way. Expecting things to change at this point is simply an excercise in futility. But don't despair, they all still earn a 7 figure salary at the top.

And a 7 figure yearly bonus for the poor sales numbers.

Wow alot of free corporate analysis expertise on here...... Last time I checked sales were up over 20 % going from 7b to 9B and projecting 10 billion in sales, even with the loss of the "Prestigious" orange tractor. AGCO was always the "poor cousin" but they still are manging to acquire more companies ie. GSI and the italian combine manufacturer among others.... Still it seems there are problems with dealer network to work out and they must continue to improve but all in all most of the equipment is right up there or better than the others , Fendt , Track machines, Hesston Baler, Gleaner, White planters, sunflower etc.....

Europe and South America yes, not in the US. They are trying to be JD and CNH in the US, don't work. Yes, Gleaner is doing well, but the Gleaner team is using the original AGCO model that the company was built upon, not trying to emulate JD or CNH. We know them "GSI" grain bins was a superb acquistion, can't wait to see the massey red version of bins. This has to be a hot joke topic in the Deere and CNH breakrooms!

gleamer, your right if you can't get parts and service then even the best machine will have to be replaced. Very sad to leave a good product because of no support!! I to am trying not to jump ship but am afraid the writing is on the wall. I feel sorry for the guy's who have bought new Gleaners and even Lexion around here.

Wonder if Green Hills Ag would be willing to work with shop fellas at Sweet Springs? Its pretty bad when you have a good product and promotion but don't seem to be bustin' your butt on the dealer/service end.
