Default R6 Gleaner.

I think I have a broken exhaust manifold. Any ideas why? Also any suggestions as to where I could find a used one?

I have seen some of those manifolds run for a long time with a crack like that. With you not having good acess to parts down there, I would just keep the engine clean and run it till I saw some signs of a leak big enough to loose turbo boost. As clean as it looks around crack it probably isn't leaking much at all if any. I ran mine for several years like that. Finally replaced it when I did a Cummins conversion on a tractor and had an extra manifold from engine I removed.

Thanks David. Do you have any suggestions for a good place that sell gleaner belts. I see a few that I need to have on hand. Specifically I saw a 6 sided belt that, I think drives the accelerator rollers. That one for sure I think I have to import.

Tractor Parts-Combine Parts-John Deere-International-Case IH-Ford-Allis Chalmers-Gleaner-Massey Ferguson - Abilene Machine, Inc. try these folks, would recommend replacing manifold, its a heck of a fire hazard, Scott.

The belt you speak of is probably ok to go with aftermarket. Someone like Shoups, Sloan Express, Abilene Machine will be fine. Now any of the bigger main drive belts I would only use original AGCO belts.

Got the R6 GLeaner home yesterday. I am going to have to change the exhaust manifold. I can here it chirping pretty good at an idle. There is a section missing out of the overhead monitor in the cab. I don't know what is suppose to be there. There is a photo of the missing piece above. Any ideas what the piece is that I need to find?
Thanks

David that is where the Tattletale II goes. It is the panel that holds the buzzer for all the warnings. It also has the warning lights for thresher door, engine air, filter coolant level, hyd oil temp, trans press, fuel restriction and parking brake. I would want it in there if it was me. It is possibe some of the sensors are bad so they removed the panel to stop the buzzer. If you have trouble finding a used one let me know.
