I have 1997 R62 and when unloading the grain tank the auger starts to shake more than I think it should as it empties out. I was wondering if it is out of balance or possibly bent a little? It runs fine when the auger it full. I have not unloaded on the go before and so haven't unloaded at full throttle and would that cause problems when unloading on the go into a grain cart. Thank you for any help.

I have a 1998 R62 that had the same problem. It ended up being the coupler that joins the outter (long unloading auger) with the auger from the bin. There is a coupler right after the U-joint where the arm swivels. There is an inspection port about 2 feet or so up the outter tube.
Anyway, there are Rubber softeners in the coupler that wear out and then you have to replace the coupler. not a bad job, and the part is relatively in-expensive. |

Have you checked the bushes. The one on the end of the auger has thrust bearing as well. The shaft where they go may need replacing. If my auger is folded in too quickly before auger stops spinning it will bend the square shaft at the uni.
