Your out of luck there Bud as Ireland are one of the Euro countries that are recently banned from getting H2A temp harvest work visas, you would be alright if you lived in Northern Ireland though as the UK is not exempt. Theres a post about it somewhere on this forum.

I went on harvest last year with Danielski's, they are top notch, have the best equipment you could ever ask for or may ever operate. Staying in hotels is a big plus, I wish I could go again and go to the King Ranch as I was supposed to last year but the crop got droughted out. If you go listen to everything people have to say and try to get along with everyone, I know from experience it is hard at times but if you keep going it will all work out. I had a great time and learned more in 4 months then I could ever imagine. Harvest is an experience I will never forget.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Bryan DeHaven. I’m 47 years old, married, my wife (Susan) works for a large insurance company here in Indianapolis Indiana and we have one daughter (Erika) 33 married who is a RN for Clarion Health care. I come from a small farm in Indiana 1800 acres that my father managed for 50 years and I worked there as a part time farm hand until dad got sick in 2001. From then on I did the planting and harvesting till his death in 2006. After his death my mom decided to rent out dad’s part of the farm to Wm Franklin, dads partner. Bill did ask me to stay on and take dad’s place but I could not; it was a little hard on me to be there without dad. Nothing against Bill. After getting laid off from my last 2 jobs because of the economy I have decided to try and full fill a dream that my dad and I had which was to try and do some custom harvesting. I was hoping that I would be considered for your up coming 2010 season. I could start mid March 2010 until done if you are interested. I do have a class A cdl/nt(doubles, triples and tankers). Some of the equipment I have operated include but is not limited to: John Deere combines (last combine was a 9560 sts with auto steer and gps), Brent, J&M and John Deere grain carts, John Deere,7920 with auto steer and gps, International Harvester, Ford/New Holland versatile tractors, Kenworth, Peterbilt, International, Volvo, Mack and freightliner trucks with 15, 13, super 10, regular 10 and 9 speed transmissions and 5 and 6 split axel transmissions.
Thank you
Bryan DeHaven

i am 27 years old have farmed all my life and have always wanted to run with a big wheat harvest my only done fall i thank is i dont have a drivers license to drive a truck and have never really wanted to get one
Christ.... How many acres do you farm? ...... To d**n much.. if you ask me.
I won't answer to this personal jab as it's really nobody's business how many acres they farm. This is about their harvesting operation the farm is a separate entity.
On that note, they still have positions available for this year yet.
