« Thread Started on Feb 1, 2010, 10:00pm »

I have heard of a few people chipping there combines.. I have a 570R and i am short on power in heavy crops, and tough conditions.. But that is normal.. But i was just wonder how much it helps to chip, and what it does to your fuel economy?

I know that the combines drive components will be safe with the extra horsepower. I do not know about the fuel economy gains because I have never chipped a combine. The extra hp will make it run more efficiently overall.
