to tune a 9540 engine to get 9560 results ?s

I bought a 9540 right at the end of harvest, so I don't have enough seat time to know if it has the capacity I want..

Had a 9895 with hp boosted to 475 and a St Johns rotor in it, I had no problem cutting 35' of 60 bushel Brandon wheat at 5.5 mph..

what can I expect this 9540 to do with it's 370hp?

I am going to get the def(shhhh don't tell Trudope) deleted, should I also get the hp boosted? and to what?

What are u guys burning for fuel in your 9540s and 60s?

any and all comments welcome about these combines
Thx
Neil

These Massey combines both come with a 9.8 litre SISU 7 cylinder engine. 9540 is rated at 370 hp. 9560 is rated at 460 hp. A competent tuning outfit will be able to take a 9540 Combine and turn it up to exactly 9560 engine horsepower specs.

I have been running a chipped 9895 beside a chipped 9540 for the last 3 years. On average I would say the 9540 has a 2-5% advantage over me on speed. If I am stubborn I can pass the 9540 but I'm living on the edge. I can lug that c-13 way more than the sisu engine. You will be happy with the 9540. It has more options for keeping grain in the bin than the 9895.
