Massey 7624 engine run away

I have a Massey Ferguson 7624 dyna vt bought new I. The fall of 2014 1500 hours.
I was baling hay on steep ground 1800 rpm headed down hill and the engine took off to unknow heights I instantly killed switch and throttle pto and came to a stop the engine ran for what seemed like hours I’m sure only a minute then died.
We let it cool down and pulled injectors ran a scope in and it burnt the centers out of the pistons.
Massey tells me that the culprit is likely the excess oil on the top of the valve train most likely was siphoned into the air intake and caused the runaway.
First thought was turbo failure but seams to be tight.
Have you heard of this.
I still owe a considerable amount and now looks to be another $25000 anyways.

If anyone knows of a burnt Massey with a tier 3 e3 7.4 SISU I would love to hear about it. Thanks

You take a picture of this scope test?
What kind of holes in the piston bowl?

Sounds like turbo was pumping oil into intake, turbo may be ok but may have had a gasket failure on it allowing it to pump in oil unnoticed, had that happen on a Cat 65c before.

I'm a bit confused though, you said this happen in the fall of 2014, are you just dealing with it now and why?

Don't blame the baker when the butcher bakes the bread.

Not sure where you are located, but there was a 2013 Massey 7622 that looked like it was rolled over backwards on Barga.ca (Western Can insurance salvage site). It was in Manitoba. It sold but I’m sure if you phoned they might be able to get you in touch with the highest bidder, quite often it’s a wrecker if it’s non repairable. Hope this helps.
