2014 Lexion 740tt Header Drive

Just bought a low hr 740tt that was speced out the way I want with the exception of the header drive. I think it has the standard variable speed 2 belt. Can these easily be converted to the HD version. Planning on running a 18r20 non chopping head.

Is it the drive that has two belts going to the feeder and one variable speed belt below grain tank? It may be built a little different than our 2011 740.

That drive should handle that head as far as I know, unless it is a head that is known to pull hard. I have used our 2011 740 with variable speed feeder on our 30' 12x30 without issue.

If you said chopping head you would be out of luck but I think you will be OK. You may want to get the cast pulley on the end of the feeder house to replace the lighter duty one that may be there now. I had to replace that pulley to drive my 12 row chopping head but I gather that my header is the biggest one safe even for the cast pulley. I have the standard feeder drive I think it's called.
