Yes we have 2014 M155 and lights work intermittently. Wipers turned on once by themselves. Switched dome light on and lights came back on once.

Have not had time to poke around but now that you say that maybe Ill call dealer and ask about it. Almost sounds like mice but dont smell anything.

Was having similar problem on ours last year W150. The wiring harness on the Left hand side was routedr improperly when set up. The harness was worn through in a couple of spots. dealer replaced and re-routed and all was good. AT the time I had to do something other than the lights to get the header to run. Thought it was the yellow header switch

My 2014 M205 just developed the same problem. with the work lights on the knife and reel will not start. Switch lights to road and away everything goes. Thanks for reporting the issue Paul. May have pulled out a few hair trying to figure this out.

Try to restart header with higher engine rpm..Seems not enough power at idle, to run lights and start knife?

Doesn't make any difference what RPM, as I thought it was probably a low power issue also.

If the harness is wore through you may have a power cable from the lights feeding into a ground, keeping a solenoid from switching.

Either that, or are the Macdon's Bussed?

If everything runs on a canbus messages get mixed up and crazy things happen.

Had a look at the harness and nothing looks rubbed. You are right about the canbus sytems, it could be just about anything.
