I have never run a geringhoff but we bought a drago series 2 in 2016. It was pretty much brand new outside of a few demo hours and we love that thing. The only thing you have to worry about is getting the right grease. U have to use drago’s Grease. We have had 0 breakdowns with it. That’s incredible since it’s had 3 seasons of 3,000+ acres of corn through it.
It’s a 16 row and I have noticed that the augur isn’t quite big enough on the series 2 to push all that grain to the center before it starts dripping out of the middle 4 rows. But we’re going to fix that by putting 360 yield center gathering chain brushes on the middle 4-6 rows. Hope this helps.
