Rake up gear boxes

Checking the combine over today I noticed oil leaking from the 90 degree gearboxes on my rake up pickup. I checked in the parts book but no seals or bearings listed for those little boxes. Called dealer and nothing available only a new gearbox. Which is on back order and close to 800$. Has anyone re sealed these units before. Iím hesitant to open them up and not be able to repair them. As it is I can add heavier oils until Iíve finished the season then overhaul them all. Any advice or leads on parts. Thanks.

I am pretty sure those gear boxes are suppose to have a semi fluid grease in them. I still have a liter of it sitting around. It is comparable to a liter of 85 -140 with a couple tubes of grease mixed in. It is something that you squeeze out of the jug rather than pour. You can get it through Rake up parts dealer.

Statistics are like a Bikini. What they reveal is suggestive, but what they conceal, is vital.
